AUCTION RULES

REGISTRATION

You must register in order to bid in this auction. . Your log-in is always your email address. If you forgot your password, please email us. Registration takes only a few moments. To register, log on to www.aitchcards.co.uk and click on the Link.Your log-in will always be your email address and you will select your own password. You need only to register once. Keep your log-in and password in a safe place for future reference, as they will remain your log-in and password for all future internet auctions.

BIDDING

This is an internet-only auction. All items that meet reserve are sold to the highest bidder. Bidding for this auction will open on DATE 2010 at www.aitchcards.co.uk. Immediately after registering and receiving email confirmation of your login and password (see REGISTRATION above), you will be able to bid in this sale. You must be logged-in to the auction at www.aitchcards.co.uk using your log-in (your email address) and your password in order to place bids in this sale. IMPORTANT: The final day of bidding for all lots is DATE 2010.

HAMMER PRICE & THE BUYER’S PREMIUM

The successful or winning bid price placed in this sale at www.aitchcards.co.uk is also described as the hammer price. A Buyer’s Premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price. The Buyer’s Premium is equal to 19% of successful bid price. As an example, in the event that you win a lot with a successful bid price (hammer price) of 1,000, then your total cost for that lot will be equal to the 1,000 successful bid price plus the 19% Buyer’s Premium. In this example, the total cost for that lot will equal 1,190 (plus shipping and insurance ( if applicable ).

BID NOTIFICATIONS VIA EMAIL

Upon placing a successful bid making you the current high bidder on a lot, you will receive an email notification confirming that you are current high bidder on that lot. We encourage you to use the “My Bids” section of the auction program to monitor the status of your current winning bids, not the email notifications. If and when you are outbid on that lot, you will receive a new email notifying you that you have been outbid. In the event that you place a bid but are immediately outbid by another bidder’s Maximum Bid, you will be notified instantly on the computer screen that you have been outbid and will not receive an email notification.
MINIMUM BIDS

Each lot in the auction has a Minimum Bid. Some lots in the sale also have a reserve price. A reserve price is the confidential minimum amount below which the consignor of the lot will not sell the property. Therefore an amount equal to or in excess of the reserve must be bid on a lot in order for a successful bid to be accepted on that lot. . Reserves are pre-determined and set within the auction program prior to the start of the auction. Most lots in the sale do not have a reserve. Unless an item is withdrawn from the sale, for all items in the sale without reserves, the lots will be sold to the highest bidder at or above the Minimum Bid price or any amount higher than the Minimum Bids.

MY BIDS

All of your bids within your account will be managed and viewable in the “My Bids” section of the site. After you are logged in to the auction using your log-in and password, My Bids will be a clickable tab on the horizontal navigation bar. In “My Bids,” you will be able to view a list of all of the lots that you have bid on in this auction, the current high bid for each lot you have bid on, whether or not you are the current high bidder, and your Maximum Bids on each lot (for lots you have placed a “Maximum” Bid).

INVOICING

Invoices will be both emailed and mailed to all winning bidders. Invoices are due and payable within 7 days. Postage and insurance, (if applicable) will be included on the invoice.

PAYMENT

CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED HOWEVER A 3% SURCHARGE WILL BE LEVIED FOR ALL PAYMENTS VIA CREDIT CARD.

Payment can also be made be in the form of personal cheques, certified cheques, money orders.All payments must clear prior to items being shipped. Property will not be released until funds have cleared. Payment must be sent to KEITH DARVALL at AITCHCARDS P.O.BOX 471 GRAVENHURST,BEDFORDSHIRE MK45 4YX ENGLAND.

1. Privacy Policy – “we do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties”
2. Delivery Policy – all items are posted within 3 days of cleared funds being received.
3. Refund Policy – any item received not as described will be refunded minus postage if we have been informed within 7 days of receiving item,and on receipt of the item in same condition as it was despatched.
